Mas La Senia – your unique and fabulous family holiday home!

Mas La Senia is a listed catalan farmhouse in the small coastal village of Sant Pol de Mar. Sant Pol has been voted one of the area’s most beautiful villages. In the summer it is popular with families from Barcelona and it buzzes with cultural.

Mas La Senia has all the beauty of a traditional and historical house with all the modern comforts of today. You will have sole use of the 350m2 of the ground floor of the house with your own entrance. It is decorated and furnished – both inside and outside – to be perfect for children as well as adults. It’s comfortable, colourful and homely.

Mas La Senia is uniquely situated next to farmland as well as being 5 minutes walk from the village centre as well as Sant Pol’s selection of beautiful beaches.

As well as a communal football pitch next to the driveway leading to the house, and a supermarket across the road.

Each beach is different – from Les Barques with its traditional, colourful fishing boats, the small bays of Les Escales to the 2 long beaches on either side of the village. Three of the beaches have beach bars/restaurants (known as xiringuitos). Beach toys, a sun umbrella and two boogie boards make your beach time even more enjoyable.

The village has shops offering all the usual services as well as a number of bars and restaurants. It is also five minutes walk to the train station from where you can go to either Barcelona or Girona in an hour.

So as well as having the tranquility and nature of being next to farmland and wonderful beaches, you also have everything else you may need on your doorstep.

With its big traditional windows and large front doors, the house gets lots of sunlight all year round but is also cooled during the summer by the air passing through the open windows. For the winter there is a big log stove and central heating.

Your holiday home is made up of a very spacious open plan lounge, dining room and well-equipped kitchen as well as a play area – including toys and games.

There are two interleading bedrooms. The master bedroom with its king size bed looks out onto the garden. In the second bedroom there are two single beds and a single high bed. A full size daybed offers an extra bed.

The bathroom includes a luxurious walk-in shower.

A work zone makes doing work while on holiday easier.

You will also have sole use of 300m2 of the garden. The garden includes

• a big terrace with a pergola shading a table and chairs for outside eating
• a barbecue
• a lawn with furniture for relaxing as well as a two swings hanging from a big tree
• a shady play area for younger children
• a wooden playhouse with a swing, slide and other activities
• an outdoor shower for after the beach or to cool off when it’s hot
• and a trampoline.

Chloe and her 2 young adult children live on the second and third floor with their friendly dog and 2 cats. They welcome you to be at home and look after you if you need anything.
